Capital Market Risk Advisors (CMRA) and Risk Fundamentals announced a joint venture combining CMRAs risk management and risk governance consulting services with Risk Fundamentals risk transparency software, CMRA said in its release.
The joint initiative will provide institutional investors, hedge funds and funds of funds services that address both quantitative and qualitative risks.
Leslie Rahl, a managing partner at CMRA, this joint effort will allow customized consulting services to have more standardized services directed at midsize funds and plans.
Risk Fundamentals President Richard Horwitz said offering industry standard risk information across managers and asset classes along with CMRAs consulting services will hopefully provide people better understanding to manage risk.
The services of the joint venture will include providing clients with a comprehensive picture of their risks and supporting their management of those risks across both traditional and alternative assets, among other things.
