CMG Mortgage has hired Todd Hempstead, a Fannie Mae veteran of 25 years, to work with private investors interested in buying and securitizing conforming and Jumbo mortgages.
“We are very excited to have an industry advocate like Todd join CMG during what we expect will be the most exciting period in our history,” said Christopher George, CMG founder and chief executive officer.
The former Fannie senior vice president will head the San Ramon, Calif., based lender’s efforts to develop new markets for its "Accelerator" mortgage product that combines the features of a line of credit with a standard mortgage.
CMG Mortgage offers a range of mortgage products, including FHA and VA loans, in 37 states.
