Citibank Reopens Credit Card Securitizations

Citibank issued an additional $700 million from its reopened CCCIT 2014-A1 transaction.

The bank priced the additional A1 notes at swaps plus 48 basis points, according to an Interactive Datareport. The 2014-A1 transaction was originally sized at $850 million. The 6.82-year notes have been assigned a 'AAA' ratings by Fitch Ratings. Citigroup, BofA Merrill Lynch, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities and RBS Securities are lead underwriters on the deal.

The bank also plans to issue an additional $300 million from its CCCIT 2013-A7 transactions. The additional notes issued bring Citibank’s year to date credit card issuance to $4.3 billion, according to figures reported by Standard & Poor’s.
