CIBC has appointed Karl Wildi as managing director and head of European capital markets, according to a report by The Globe and Mail.
Wildi joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Toronto, where he was head of fixed income, currencies, and commodities. He will relocate to London and assume his new position effective Sep. 7, the report indicated.
The firm also added Michael Chiun and Josh Kay to its financial solutions group, The Globe and Mail reported. Chiun was most recently with the Bank for International Settlements in Switzlerland, and Kay joins from Morgan Stanley in London, according to the report.
