Thierry Simon has been appointed CEO of Calyon in the Americas.
Simon will be based in New York and replace Duncan Goldie-Morrison, who was recently named senior advisor to Calyon CEO Patrick Valroff and chairman of global brokerage firm Newedge. In his new role, which is effective July 1, Simon will also become CEO of Calyon Securities (USA).
Simon, who started with the bank in 1985, has been deputy CEO for Calyon Americas since May 2008. He previously served as the global head of real estate and hotels in the structured finance division and before that as the head of the financial institutions group.
