Independent broker-dealer Braver Stern Securities hired Peter Howard as a managing director and head trader of CDOs, CLOs and esoteric ABS.
Howard has extensive experience in specialized ABS products and will play a key role in developing these business lines at Braver Stern.
Howard was previously at Cross Point Capital where he most recently served as head trader focused on all securitized products.
Before that, he spent three years with Peloton Partners as partner and head of the Peloton ABS Master Fund. He also was a director of portfolio optimization at Dresdner Bank in London, and started his career as a vice president and ABS portfolio manager at BNP Paribas.
