Jenna Barnard, head of global bonds at Janus Henderson Investors, will retire from the firm at the end of 2026, according to reports.
The news led Titan Square Mile to remove the 'A' ratings on the Janus Henderson Strategic Bond and Janus Henderson Fixed Interest Monthly Income funds, which she oversees as lead portfolio manager, according to a statement from Titan Square, a London-based investment research firm.
"Our ratings were underpinned by our conviction in Ms. Barnard and her contribution and dedication to these strategies for over 20 years," according to an announcement from the company.
Titan Square expects leadership continuity within the wider fixed income team because succession plans have been outlined. It added, however, that given the significance of Barnard's anticipated departure from Janus, and since the new leadership structure is not yet in place, it would remove the funds from its Academy of Funds.
Janus Henderson did not respond to comments by press time.
