Appleby Opens Bahrain Location

Appleby opened a representative office in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the offshore law firm announced in a press release today.

The new office Appleby (Middle East) will cover the whole Middle East region.

Jeanne Bartlett will be the managing director of the new office. Bartlett is Applebys global leader for Islamic and structured finance and a partner in the legal practice in the Cayman Islands.

Last month, Appleby opened a new office in the Seychelles. It also announced a merger with Dickinson Cruickshank slated for Oct.1, making it the largest offshore firm by partner numbers, with 73 partners and more than 800 staff.
