Shekhar Sahgal

Shekhar Sahgal is vice president, U.S. Prepaid Product at MasterCard Worldwide.  In this role, he is responsible for leading the growth and development of consumer prepaid product programs in the U.S. Before joining MasterCard, Mr. Sahgal led several global product development initiatives at American Express, where he drove the launch of travel cards and other prepaid programs.  Prior to working at American Express, he was with Citigroup in Europe where he led efforts to drive growth in Citi’s credit card and retail banking businesses with roles in Greece, Germany and the UK.  Sahgal received his MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and received dual undergraduate degrees in economics and computer science from the University of Rochester.
