Philip Aquilino is a Partner and Managing Director in the Risk & Compliance practice in North America for the Boston Consulting GroupPhilip has more than 20 years experience and expertise across a wide range of risk management and regulatory topics, including supervisory requirements and expectations with respect to� legal entity structure, enhanced prudential standards, stress testing, capital,� internal audit, and model governance and validationPrior to joining BCG, Philip was a partner at a Big Four firm where he led the Financial Services Safety & Soundness Regulatory practice.� He also spent more than 14 years in senior roles with the Federal Reserve System at the New York and San Francisco Reserve Banks, and was an officer in the Risk Management Group at the Board of Governors.� He� represented the Federal Reserve on the Financial Stability Board's 2010 SIFI working group and� had a six month secondment with the BAKredPhilip has focussed on the following themes as both an advisor and a regulator:•Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS) / Intermediate Holding Company (IHC)•Assistance with remediation of regulatory findings and enforcement actions•Operational risk, including third party risk•CCAR / Basel requirements and model� risk management•Regulatory reporting and Risk Data Aggregation (RDA)•BSA/AML•Legal entity governance and rationalization / Regulation W•Internal audit support and assessments•Fintech strategy and regulatory issues�Philip received an MA in International Business, Finance, and Economic Law from the Fletcher School at Tufts university; and has a BA in Political Science from the University of California Berkley
