She especially enjoys assisting women in transition and helping them create sound financial decisions that address their unique challenges such as divorce, death in the family and inheritance.\nMarilyn has dedicated an enormous amount of her talent to her profession, serving as President and Chairwoman of the East Bay Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning, now the FPA, as well as Chairwoman of the Northern California Regional Financial Planning Conference. She has also been a featured speaker for regional and national conferences of the Financial Planning Association and her industry peers at LPL Financial conferences.\nMarilyn is frequently called upon to provide wealth management commentary and financial planning expertise for well-known publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CNBC.com, MSN.com, SmartMoney, USA Today and San Jose Mercury News. Marilyn graduated from University of the Pacific with a degree in International Studies and holds the Series 7 and 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial. In addition to being a well-respected financial advisor in the East Bay, she is a licensed California life, disability and health insurance agent.\nMarilyn and her husband, Todd, enjoy many outdoor sports including kayaking, skiing and white water rafting.
