J. C. Max Pedro

Max Pedró is Vice President, Financial Services for Wal-Mart International since joining the company in 2009. Max has spent over 15 years working in the Financial Services industry at Citibank in Argentina, and as a Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo/Wachovia in Charlotte, North Carolina, working in the Capital Management and Mortgage businesses. In addition, he spent four years at McKinsey in Brazil and North Carolina working as an Engagement Manager, focusing on Retail Banking and Payment Strategies in international and domestic markets. Max also helped his family start and run a Healthcare Institution, which provides full-service hospice care for 28 senior citizens in his home town of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, a Masters in Finance from Universidad del Cema (Buenos Aires) and an Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires.
