SVP, Sales and Service, Business and COFA Sales Strategy Executive

As a Senior Vice President in Capital One Bank�s Sales and Service (S&S) organization, Cheryl is responsible for driving the S&S strategies for the Specialty Sales Groups within the Small Business and Capital One Financial Advisor (COFA) divisions.�� Cheryl�s team delivers local distribution sales strategies for 750+ associates in Business Banking, Small Business Banking and the COFA division all operating in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, Washington, D.C, Maryland, Louisiana and Texas.With 30 years of financial industry experience, Cheryl has held national executive level roles in Global Treasury, Business Banking, Small Business, Retail Branches and Call Centers where she is experienced in designing and executing specialized segment sales distribution strategies, managing direct line sales associates, and directing national deposit product strategy.�� During her career she has worked for several Fortune 500 organizations including 25 combined years at Fleet Bank and Bank of America as well as working at the Royal Bank of Scotland�s Citizens Bank before joining Capital One in 2010.�Through 30 years of differentiated and progressive experience, Cheryl has a unique 360o view of the business enabling her to drive strategies by capitalizing on her experience leading sales teams and her strong capabilities executing long-term strategic plans.� She has led several strategic initiatives throughout her career including reengineering Fleet�s Small Business Specialist program into a multi-year delivery of double-digit revenue growth.�� Cheryl earned Bank of America�s distinguished Award of Excellence recognition for driving regional results that doubled national average production performance.� At Citizens Bank she created the blueprint for new phone capabilities including lending delivery as well as phone relationship management functionality.�� At Capital One, she installed new Sales Process and Sales Management routines, created new variability tools, installed a pitchbook and playbook platform, launched a new CRM tool all resulting in a consistent reduction in banker variability and as well as significant multi-year improvement in the production of both top and lower quartile bankers.�A Boston native, Cheryl earned her MBA at Suffolk University in Boston.�� She also graduated from the CBA/BAI Graduate School of Retail Bank Management where she is currently on the faculty.� She remains in Massachusetts with her husband Bob and their 16 year old triplets Alex, Samantha and Nicole as well as their 14 year old son Noah.
