Carolyn "Cal" Durland, CPCU

Carolyn �Cal� Durland, CPCU, has worked in the insurance industry since 1980, as a commercial underwriter, a broker and since 1990, at the industry�s non-profit standards development organization ACORD.In her current role, she works with industry associations, as ACORD�s Director of Industry Relations and she manages ACORD-User Group Information Exchange (AUGIE). There are over 300 associations who have worked with ACORD throughout the years, supporting the ACORD initiatives, Forms, Standards and Reference Architecture (Framework).� As the manager of AUGIE, she works with various management system user groups, independent agents, carriers and vendors to address technology and workflow opportunities.She is the President of the Westchester Fairfield Hudson Chapter of CPCU and is the Vice Chair of the CPCU Agent and Broker Interest Group. She was the 2011 recipient of the Wade S. Dunbar Jr. Award.
