Keith Danko has joined hedge fund firm Titan Capital Group as partner, the New York-based alternative manager announced today.
Danko, who is a "pioneer in the development of global asset-backed securities" will assist Titan founder Russell Abrams in the overall management of the firm, according to a Sept. 22 statement. He will be based in the New York headquarters.
"Titan Capital provides top-tier investment solutions to institutional investors, and I am excited to work with my new colleagues as the business grows," he said in the announcement.
Prior to joining Titan, Danko was chief executive of CQS' U.S. operations for the past three years, the statement noted. CQS is a London-based alternative investment firm.
Earlier on, he was the chief executive and CIO of hedge fund of funds firm ACAM Advisors. He has also worked at Goldman Sachs, where he was an executive director in charge of international MBS and ABS trading.
"We are extremely pleased to have Keith on board and look forward to benefiting from his experience and long track record of success," Abrams said. "We believe he is a great addition to Titan's already strong team."
Titan specializes in volatility trading strategies. The firm has offices in New York and Hong Kong.
