Poinsett Capital Appoints CIO

Poinsett Capital Advisors appointed Andrew Reiken as chief investment officer.

The new appointee has worked with Poinsett for over a year via strategic partner Graycliff Capital Partners.

At Graycliff, Reiken coordinated CMBS investments as well as other debt instruments. He has also previously worked closely with the principals of Poinsett Capital Advisors through its other firm TIC Properties. Here Reiken originated financing on many of the properties in TIC's syndicated portfolio.

As CIO of Poinsett, Reiken will continue his work in identifying suitable CMBS and other debt investments for the different investment funds and other firm clients.

Additionally, he will lead a new division that will specialize in representing investors in restructuring their debt and equity structures.

Before Graycliff, Reiken was co-leader of the capital markets desk within real estate structured finance at Macquarie Holdings. Over his career, Reiken has worked on more than $30 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
