Financial Services Assistance for Commercial Distressed Assets

UGL Services has launched a new group to provide financial analytics support and advisory services for commercial real estate distressed assets, leasing deals and capital markets-related transactions.

The capital markets services (CMS) group will provide capital markets transaction services for acquisitions, dispositions, sales-leaseback, mortgage refinance workouts, FASB tenant improvement financings and CMBS restructures.

Additionally, CMS can assist clients with a full complement of real estate accounting support and lease and portfolio opportunity analysis. The group will also help clients enhance and preserve the value of distressed assets.

“The Capital Markets Services Group is a growing and dynamic service line designed to maximize the value of our clients' assets,” said David Montross, chief executive of UGL Services, Chicago. “By engaging the CMS Group, especially in these challenging economic times, UGL Services' clients will realize real value in the development of financial structures for their portfolios.”

Team members will work out of three offices: Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

David Clark, senior vice president of advisory & consulting, will serve as the head of CMS. The CMS team will be rounded out by: Ed Wlodarczyk, senior vice president who will oversee national corporate service transactions and structured capital finance; Boris Shraybman, director of analytics and execution; Jeff Donnelley, senior vice president who will oversee investment sales; and Mark Civitillo, associate director responsible for providing analysis and execution for investment sales.
