Cole Real Estate Boosts Asset Management Team

Cole Real Estate Investments hired Eric Costa as director in the asset management and dispositions group as announced by Marc Nemer, the firm's president.

Costa has 15 years of industry experience in portfolio asset management, project analysis, acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, development, construction management, national tenant representation, and strategic planning, which covers product types such as retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

Before joining Cole, Costa was an executive vice president and principal with Aspen Properties, where he was an asset manager of a portfolio backed by commercial properties in Austin, Texas totaling over 1.5 million square feet. He also oversaw acquisitions and dispositions for the firm.

Prior to Aspen Properties, Costa was a director at Faris Lee Investments in Irvine, California where he focused on selling retail investment property. He began his career as an associate vice president at Flocke and Avoyer Commercial Real Estate in San Diego, California leasing a retail portfolio totaling over 1.5 million square feet as well as creating an investment sales division within the company.

“Eric’s leadership, depth of relationships with investors, partnerships and advisors, and creative expertise will be a significant asset to our team in increasing profitability and operating efficiency for our expanding portfolio of real estate assets in key markets throughout the country,” said Mark Selman, senior vice president of real estate operations.

Cole currently manages a real estate portfolio of over 37 million square feet.
