Cole Real Estate Investments hired David Collins as vice president in the asset management group. Marc Nemer, Cole president. announced the hiring.
Collins has 30 years of industry experience with an extensive background in all facets of retail real estate management, such as property management, tenant construction and leasing.
The new hire's experience includes asset management of Tyson’s Corner Center, one of the top five enclosed malls in the country; repositioning various retail properties and completing more than two million square feet of leases. Collins also has a track record of achievement in continuous cost savings and NOI improvement.
“David’s accomplishments in maximizing the operating performance of retail properties in key markets throughout the United States will be an asset to our team in creating value for our current portfolio as well for our continued growth.” said Mark Selman, senior vice president of real estate operations. Cole currently manages a real estate portfolio of over 39 million square feet.
Prior to joining Cole, Collins was senior vice president for Carlyle Development Group, vice president for Jones Lang LaSalle, as well as executive vice president for the Staubach Co. He started his real estate career with May Department Stores Co.
