Cole Real Estate Adds Director Of Acquisitions

Cole Real Estate Investments hired William Broms as director of acquisitions. The move was announced by Marc Nemer, president of the firm.

Broms' focus has been purchasing high-quality, net-leased assets. Throughout his career, he has been sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing property acquisitions valued at around $1 billion in major markets throughout the country.

Before Cole, Broms was acquisitions director for public REIT Realty Income Corp. where he was responsible for total operational and planning activities such as sourcing, marketing, analyzing, and overseeing the purchasing of net-leased real estate portfolios that were valued over $500 million.

Broms received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Illinois University and a masters of business administration in finance from Regis University.

“We are pleased to have William join our expanding acquisitions team of accomplished professionals,” said Kim Kundrak, senior vice president and chief acquisitions officer. “William’s experience, leadership and depth of relationships will help Cole diversify its portfolio and secure investment-grade, net-leased properties in key markets nationwide.”

Cole is  an active buyer of high-quality, income-producing retail, office and industrial real estate assets.
