Robert Slavin covers municipal finance in the Southeast Region, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He is an award-winning journalist with over a dozen years of experience covering local and state governments and government finance. He also has over a year’s experience as a statistical analyst.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Harvard College, a master’s degree in social research from CUNY and a second master’s degree in modern European history from Rutgers University.
