Arnold Hook

Arnold Hook entered the data processing field in operations while a student in 1960. His roles advanced from operations supervision to programming and design and eventually to data administration. Hook is one of the original co-founders of DAMA, Data Management Association, which is now the Los Angeles chapter. He has held multiple director positions in DAMA during the past 18 years. His initial responsibilities were in meta data management (repository life cycle administration) with a large retail organization. While with a public utility, Hook developed an enterprise data model which led to an application portfolio plan based on global architectures of data and process. Currently, Hook is a data administrator for a large data warehouse project ad ADP corporation, which is a third warehouse project.
