SG refocuses debt division

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking is refocusing its medium-term business model to become a fully issuer-focused division across the equity-debt continuum under its newly unveiled Step up 2010 business plan. The capital-raising and financing division comprises capital markets, structured finance, and hedging and syndication. Jean-Luc Parer and Olivier Khayat head up the capital-raising and financing division.

The following managers have been appointed for the division's core activities: Michel Cohen is global head of equity capital markets; Jean-Franaois Mazaud is global head of debt capital markets; Jean-Marc Giraud is global head of strategic and acquisition finance; Rene de Laigue and Patrick Menard are global heads of leveraged and media telecom finance hedging; Ines de Dinechin is global head of interest rates and foreign-exchange derivatives structured financing; Frederic Genet is global head of export finance; Bertrand Descours is global head of real estate and lodging finance; Matthew Vickerstaff is global head of infrastructure and asset-based finance; Denis Childs and Pierre Palmieri are global heads of natural resources and energy financing; Ian Fisher is global head of syndication; Antoine Bostsarron heads the financial institutions market segment; and Jean-Claude Petard heads the sovereign and public sector market segment.
