The European Securitization Forum (ESF) announced its new executive committee for 2004-2005. Iain Barbour, head of securitization at Commerzbank Securities, has been elected chairman and Holger Beyer of Euro Capital Structures will preside as vice-chairman. Terms for both will begin April 1, 2004 and last through 2005.


Peter Hansen also joins the organization as managing director. He will work with Scott Rankin, the executive director of the forum and Sr. vice president and associate general counsel of The Bond Market Association. Hansen will be responsible for directly staffing several major ESF committees, including its Synthetic Securitization Committee, the CMBS Committee and Accounting Committee, as well as numerous ESF working groups. Hansen will also work closely with other members of ESF staff on the ESF’s market practice, data, and investor initiatives.
