Deutsche Hires Five in Global Prime Finance

Deutsche Bank Securities announced the hiring of five senior bankers Thursday. All will be based within the global prime finance field in New York.

Anthony Demonte joins as a director in securities lending and will report to co-heads Paul Busby and Keith Babbitt. Demonte was previously at Lehman Brothers, where he spent nine years in the capital markets prime services group.

Tom Filipovits joins as director of the client management group and reports to department head Timothy Lennon. Filipovits previously spent a year in Morgan Stanley's client solutions group and six years as a product development manager at Goldman Sachs. Keith Weintraub will report to global head Satish Ramakrishna as director in risk management. After a 17-year stint at Citigroup working in risk and analytics, Weintraub joined Archeus Capital Management as a risk manager before going back to Citigroup as a director of development for securitization. EJ Liotta will report to global head Mike Ginelli as director of product development. Liotta previously spent a year as director of prime brokerage technology and five years at Barclays Capital in the equity finance and prime brokerage group.

John Dewey joins as director in product management and will report to Jeff Dorman and Chris East, who head up global prime finance. Dewey joins after six years at Lehman Brothers in the capital markets prime services group.
