Congratulations Following is a list of ABS pros recently promoted.

Barclays Capital

Barclays Capital has named Michael Wade as a managing director in the firm's ABS origination group. He will continue to run the bank's ABS team. Barclays has also hired Fouad Onbargi as a director in the bank's ABCP conduit group, focusing on origination and execution. Onbargi formerly worked at Banc One Capital Markets.

CSFB

Credit Suisse First Boston has named John McWilliams as managing director in the asset-finance group, reporting to group co-heads Joseph Donovan and Greg Richter. CSFB has also promoted Boris Grinberg, David Marani and Justin Tisler to the positions of vice president.

In the CSFB research department, real estate ABS analyst Rod Dubitsky was promoted to director from vice president. Christina Lai, the senior analyst covering auto loan and credit card ABS, was promoted to vice president from associate. Both still report to managing director Neil McPherson.

Fitch Ratings

Michael Dean and Chris Mrazek were each named managing directors in the term ABS group at Fitch Ratings. As part of a recent re-organization, Dean will run all of the operations of the consumer asset rating activity while Mrazek has moved into a new role, where he will head ABS credit research. Both report to Kevin Duignan.

Andrew Chou and Steven Moffit were both promoted to Directors in the consumer asset group, reporting to Mike Dean. Chou covers auto-related

ABS, and Moffitt covers student loans, credit cards and tobacco receivables. Aoto Kenmochi and Nathan Flanders were also promoted to Director. Kenmochi covers the ABCP sector reporting to Debbie Seife, and Flanders covers financial guarantors, reporting to Tom Abruzzo.

Merrill Lynch

Theresa O'Neil was recently promoted to managing director in Merrill Lynch's structured finance research group. O'Neil, who has been with Merrill for five years, continues to report to structured finance research head, Dan Castro.

Moody's Investors Service

Nicolas Weill was named senior vice president in Moody's asset finance group covering esoteric assets including tobacco settlements, aircraft leases, intelectual property, and tax liens. He reports to senior vice president Jay Eisbruck.

Nimish Mathur was promoted to associate analyst in Moody's asset finance group. Mathur reports to managing director Pramila Gupta and is responsible for rating sub-prime and more complex RMBS transactions, such as securitizations of servicer advance receivables and non-performing loans.

Salomon Smith Barney

Salomon Smith Barney CMBS research strategist Darrell Wheeler was named managing director in the mortgage and asset-backed research group, reporting to Bob Kulason. Additionally, James Viceconte and Scott Wede were named as managing directors in the MBS trading group, along with John Garcia in MBS sales. Mark Graham was named MD in the CDO group and David Basra was named MD in the European securitization group

Scotia Capital

Scotia Capital has promoted Brant Murdock to the position of associate director, from director. Murdock works in the ABCP conduit origination group at Scotia, reporting to director Michael Eden.

Wachovia Securities

Russ Andrews and Yu-Ming Wang were named as managing directors in the structured products capital markets and structured credit products groups at Wachovia Securities. Both report to managing director Tom Wickwire, who heads the structured products group. Additionally, Bo Weatherly was named a director within the banking group. Weatherly will report directly to Wang.

Bill Cohane and Leslie Fairbanks were also named managing directors in the real estate capital markets group. Cohane will report to Charlie Culbreth, head of commercial real estate finance. Fairbanks reports to Rick Abrams, head of structured finance and tax credit investment.
