Bank of America Corp. agreed to purchase $55 billion of retail auto loans from General Motors Acceptance Corp. over the next five years. BofA will initially buy $5 billion and purchase an additional $10 billion each year through 2010. GMAC will retain servicing the loans, according to reports.
