Steven Petrevski is the Senior Vice President & General Manager of Security and Fraud Solutions at First Data, a global leader in payment technology and services solutions.As General Manager of Security and Fraud Solutions, Steve is responsible for supporting the needs of over one thousand financial institutions and one million merchants spanning local businesses to the world’s largest retailers. First Data’s comprehensive portfolio of fraud products encompass authorization platforms, analytics services, alerting, and next generation fraud tools utilizing the latest developments across machine learning and analytics. First Data’s tokenization and encryption solution, TransArmor, is the most widely adopted merchant security solution securing over 30M transactions per day.Prior to joining First Data, Steve was with the Global Technology Strategy and Partnerships team at JPMorgan Chase. While at JPMC, Steve focused on driving technology strategy and business development across the cyber security, fraud, and analytics sectors by leveraging emerging technology connectivity with Silicon Valley. He partnered closely with the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking organization on several IPOs and M&A deals across the technology landscape.Previously, Steve worked in multiple roles at UBS including systems development and architecture in the Investment Bank and in the Technology Strategy and Alliance function. During his time at UBS, he helped build the firm’s Silicon Valley presence and was responsible for managing the bank’s relationships with the venture capital community.Steve started his career as a technology consultant at IBM and BearingPoint; during those years, he had the opportunity to work on some of the most complex analytical systems in the financial services industry.Steve currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Nanowear, a healthcare technology company that is using its patented textile-based nanosensors to transform patient monitoring. Additionally, he sits on advisory boards of multiple venture capital firms and supports a number of charities, including The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Steve received an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
