Robert Specter

Vice President for Finance

Robert M. Specter joined the University of Delaware as Vice President for Finance in February of 2007. In September 2010, he became Chief Business Officer of UD's 1743 Holdings LLC, which owns and is redeveloping a former Chrysler automobile assembly plant site adjacent to the University. Mr. Specter serves as a founding officer of First State Marine Wind LLC, which built and operates a utility-scale wind turbine facility in Lewes, DE. He has served as Vice President for Administration and Finance at the City University of New York's Baruch College and in similar positions at Oregon State University and Montana State University. Mr. Specter earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Rochester, an MS degree at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and an MBA at Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business.
