Karen Larrimer

EVP & Chief Marketing Officer

Karen L. Larrimer is executive vice president and chief marketing officer for The PNC Financial Services Group, responsible for leading advertising and brand management corporatewide. In addition she directs key Retail Banking functions, including Decision Analytics and Research, Mass MarketSegmentation and the Mass Affluent Segment, including the Private Client Group and the Financial Specialist structure, as well as Corporate Communications.Prior to being named to her current position in May 2008, Larrimer served as executive vice president for PNC�s Business Banking, where she directed strategic planning, marketing, and product management and development. She also served in a leadership role with Treasury Management, overseeing the connection between Treasury Management and Business Banking. In addition, she served in a leadership capacity over the Small Business sales team, which included more than 300 small business bankers across our footprint. Her contributions helped Business Banking earn the J.D. Powers and Associates top ranking for small business banking customer satisfaction (2007). Prior to joining PNC, Larrimer served as a sales executive for Ernst & Young and held management positions at Mellon Bank. Larrimer is a member of the CMO Council. She serves on the board of directors for the Bank dministration Institute (BAI), Children�s Museum of Pittsburgh and Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania. In addition, she serves on the marketing committee of United Way of Pittsburgh. Shepreviously served as a member of the advisory board for Warrillow & Co., a small business consulting company, and the Consumer Banker�s Association government relations committee. She also mentorsprofessionals and participates in student reading programs. In 2003, Larrimer was selected as one of the Best 50 Women in Business in the state of Pennsylvania; in 2009, named one of the �Women Worth Watching� by Diversity Journal magazine; in 2010, a Working Mother magazine �Mother of the Year;� and in 2013 was the recipient of the GirlScouts of America Award of Distinction in Business. Larrimer graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Management and a concentration in Marketing from Point Park University in Pittsburgh and completed the Carnegie Mellon University Center for Executive Education Leadership Program.
