Jennifer Cohen

Ms. Cohen is General Counsel at LCS Receivables Management, LLC and its affiliated companies with business relating to secured and unsecured collections, servicing and default management, collection litigation, and debt acquisitionand sales. As General Counsel for the LCS Receivables Management companies, Ms. Cohen manages all regulatory and compliance affairs including monitoring and advising on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone ConsumerProtection Act of 1991, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Dodd-Frank Act. In addition, Ms. Cohen is responsible for managing all corporate legal matters as they relate to regulatory compliance including debt collection, servicingand origination licensure, contract compliance, intellectual property, litigation and corporate governance.Ms. Cohen brings with her more than eight years of experience and an impressive educational background. Prior to joining LCS Receivables Management, Ms. Cohen worked in private practice at an international law firm where she served as an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and real estate. She also served as Vice President and General Counsel for an international franchise chain, and as a litigator with an emphasis on employment law. Ms. Cohen received her J.D. from the University of Colorado with Dean’s List Honors, and her B.A. from the University of Arizona, cum laude.Ms. Cohen is involved in various financial services organizations and committees and is a lecturer on collection regulation and compliance.
