Frank T. Pallotta

Frank T. Pallotta has spent over 20 years in the mortgage banking industry starting at Goldman Sachs in 1990 through his current role as a partner of Loan Value Group, LLC. At Goldman Sachs, Frank worked with the firm’s clients to help manage their risk by offering investment advice, providing liquidity, and facilitating warehouse financing. Frank moved to Credit Suisse in 1995 where he helped build and run their Mortgage Banking sales effort, and was instrumental in the design of their mortgage origination business. In 2003, Frank was recruited by Morgan Stanley to lead an effort to construct a fully integrated, mortgage origination business and was one of the founding members of a team which eventually grew to more than 2000 worldwide. In 2005, Frank was appointed as co-head of Morgan Stanley’s Mortgage Conduit platform running a team of nearly 125 mortgage professionals based in Boca Raton, FL. His responsibilities grew to include underwriting, compliance, loss mitigation, fulfillment, valuation, and general oversight of the Conduit. In 2007 and 2008, Frank and his team led Morgan Stanley through crisis in a deteriorating mortgage market by aggressively adjusting risk parameters, underwriting guidelines, and policies& procedures in the Firm’s conduit operation. He helped create an aggressive strategy thatquickly identified, packaged, and sold distressed residential assets ahead of a collapsing housingmarket. He is also responsible for the creation and oversight the firm’s loan repurchaseoperation, where recoveries were among the industries highest.After leaving Morgan Stanley in 2008, Frank helped found Loan Value Group LLC of Rumson,NJ. LVG works with servicers and owners of mortgage risk to positively influence consumerbehavior to reduce the threat of strategic default. Their innovative strategy – The ResponsibleHomeowner Reward Program – offers mortgage risk owners a variable cost, turnkey solution tothis growing trend.
