Barb Reilly

Managing Director

Barb Reilly is a Managing Director at Arnold Worldwide where she�s worked for 17 years. During this time, she�s run a large group of accounts overseeing all integrating marketing for many retail banks including RBS/Citizens Bank, Huntington Bank, Santander and National Bank Holdings- Bank Midwest and Hillcrest.� Outside of banking she�s run Vertex Pharmaceuticals and led the charge for the much-talked-about JetBlue Airways for their first 2 years in operation. In addition, at Arnold and at Houston Effler Herstek Favat, Barb�s worked on breakthrough campaigns for the anti-smoking businesses, starting with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Anti-Smoking account, the FDA Anti-Tobacco business which then led to the Truth account win.� These �Movement� campaigns were some of the first of their kind in the country, and more importantly, have proven to reduce smoking rates and save lives. � She�s worked on a variety of other brands throughout her career, such as Ocean Spray Cranberries, Gillette, Silk Soy Milk, Fairwinds Gourmet Coffee, Talbots, Paramount Pictures and Cadillac. Reilly co-created Women�s Insights, a group at Arnold dedicated to understanding the role women have influencing the purchase of products and services.�As part of this effort, she worked with brands like Jones New York and VW.� The Women�s Insight Team worked with Katie Couric, then on the Today Show, to promote awareness of colorectal cancer among women, increasing screenings by 20%.She also has helped to create the agency�s InsideOut Marketing Practice, which helps brands maximize their external efforts by strengthening internal communications and brand delivery. She's worked on programs for clients like Strayer University, Huntington Bank and Santander.� She also heads up all the philanthropy work at Arnold, �Arnold Gives Back�.Barb was recently named one of Boston�s Top 100 Most Admired Women and BBJ�s Women of Influence 2013.Over the years, she and her team are the recipients of multiple awards including:Emmy, EFFIES, Cannes Lion, Hatch Awards and Addys.She�s been Chairman of the Board of the AdClub. She has guest taught at Babson College�s Graduate School of Management and sits on the American Marketing Association�s EFFIE Steering Committee. She is on the Board of Crescent Ridge Dairy, the American Heart Association�s GO RED for Women and the Mass General Hospital�s �Mission Gratitude�.She hails from Boston, but claims she lost the accent when she attended American University in DC. She came back up to Boston again to �work by day and attend school by night� to pursue her B.S in Business Communications at Northeastern University. She�s a proud wife and mom to two beautiful girls. Barb is an avid skier and a not-so-good golfer. She is most commonly heard saying �Life is good�.�
