Angela Govila

Small Business Digital Product Development

Angela is currently the Head of Product Delivery for Capital One's Digital Product Development team responsible for driving strategic product planning, prioritization, scaled agile program management and execution of the strategic roadmap for the ecommerce and digital banking product suite targeted for small businesses. In her role, she is applying her passion of bringing structure to chaos and converting program vision and strategy into action to drive meaningful business results. Angela has delivered on great results for the company including launch of flagship checking products under the Spark Business umbrella, now recognized as the leading deposit product by Money Magazine.Prior to joining Capital One, Angela was with Ernst & Young's Strategic Transformation Advisory team, where she led program management engagements for large technology projects in the financial services industry. She has also held roles with General Electric in the program management space driving strategic initiatives for Treasury, Finance and Emerging technology teams.Angela is passionate about adding structure to chaos and converting strategy into action to drive business results. She is fueled by the belief that the right combination of insight, technology and customer experience can drive change. Angela is a bold thought leader in the space of product delivery and program management, and has been sought as a panelist and speaker on the topic through Lean In Forums and non-profit organizations such as Redmond WorkSource. Angela’s passion extends into empowering women in the workforce and has volunteered heavily for the cause. She’s also been held the position of President for several chapters for Toastmasters International and has been recognized for her community leadership. �She is a graduate of the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University and lives in Seattle. In her spare time, she enjoys backpacking trips in remote wilderness along with spending time with her family.
